Fees are set on a sliding scale which is dependent upon your personal financial situation.

An Initial Assessment Session (lasting one and a quarter hours) is between £50 - £60

Individual psychotherapy and counselling: £40 - £45 per session

Individual supervision: £45 - a reduced rate applies to those still in training

 

Terms and Conditions

At the initial appointment a decision whether or not to work together will be made.  If we decide to go ahead, then a regular, weekly appointment is made with my client at the same time each week.  Sometimes, demands of work and irregular working patterns mean that I have to be more flexible.  However, where possible, a time is set aside for that particular session and it is not offered to anyone else.

In order to maintain professional standards, I limit the amount of clients I see each week.  This means that I make a charge for cancelled and missed appointments as these will remain unfilled.

Counselling/psychotherapy requires a commitment on both the therapist and the client to the process.  Attending regular sessions will give us the best chance of working to attain and maintain improvement.  Making a regular space in the week to reflect upon the things that really matter to you is about making a commitment to yourself and to improving your situation.

I am able to take referrals from private individuals, as well as from Psychiatrists, GP's and other health professionals. 

Employee support is available, by arrangement, with commercial businesses.
